Download the Android 12 Beta for your OnePlus 9/9 Pro here

The Android 12 beta program has been announced for eligible Pixel handsets and we’ve already seen that the Nokia X20 will jump on board some time during Q3 of 2021, but it’s also available for the new OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The Android 12 beta firmware is already available to download and we’ve got the links and instructions for you after the break.

Update: We’ve removed the download links to the Android 12 beta firmware due to reports of OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro devices being bricked whilst trying to install the firmware builds. We’ll reinstate the download links once OnePlus reveals a fix for the issue that won’t allow the devices to move beyond the “copy data” step.

Before we get to the links, it’s important to remember that this is beta firmware and that there are bugs present with the following issues having already been found:

  • All data will be cleared while flashing the build
  • Video call function is not available
  • Fingerprint unlock and face unlock are unavailable
  • Certain UI screens look less than desirable
  • Some apps may not function as expected
  • System stability issues

If the OnePlus 9 or OnePlus 9 Pro is your daily driver it’s advised to wait for the stable Android 12 release, while the T-Mobile and Verizon variants are’s compatible with the Android 12 build currently. That being said, for the intrepid flasher (not that) we have the download links and instructions for you below.
